Our
toddler unit is bright and spacious with direct access to an
equipped outdoor area especially for our under three’s.
Our scaled
down outdoor equipment enables children to experience various
aspects such as self esteem, self confidence, behavior and self
control. Encouraging play in a secure homely environment with high
adult/child ratios allows the children to explore, investigate and
enjoy the learning experience.
We help them to practice and develop
ideas, concepts and skills in a unique and non-threatening way,
without fear of failure.
The
indoor environment is created to encourage children to learn
individually and with others through play. We offer our children a
play-based curriculum, which meets all the requirements of the Early
Years Foundation Stage and supports all aspects of their learning
and development.

It supports their inbuilt curiosity and desire to
make sense of the world around them and helps them to discover that
learning is interesting and fun. This is vitally important if
children are going to remain keen learners for the rest of their
lives.
A key person approach is the most effective way of ensuring that
children have a strong relationship with an adult in the nursery to
support their emotional well being. Our staff work in a friendly
homely environment and this creates a natural atmosphere that leads
to children and adults forming good relationships and bonds.

We believe that children learn first from their parents and that it
is important to carry this through into our nurseries. Each parent
will complete a Getting to Know You paper sharing the little special
things that will help nursery staff to understand and get to know
their child.
A Daily diary will be shared with you about your
child’s experiences. An adjacent sleep room offers a quiet and
comfortable atmosphere for our developing youngsters to have that
all important nap/sleep during their day along with nappy changing
facilities.
