environmental gardens to experience nature and living things.
All children should be able to play and learn in a fun environment
with adults who understand, support and care about them. We want the
children we care for to feel secure, and to have the confidence to
deal with whatever life brings them.
All nursery children are provided with a free nursery uniform* and as part of our “Ready For School “programme. Each child
is encourage to wear our nursery uniform creating a sense of
belonging developing social and personal skills. Our nursery
experience ensures each child will be more prepared for their first
day at school and ready to reach their potential.
A key person approach is the most effective way of ensuring that
children have a strong relationship with an adult in the nursery to
support their emotional well being. Our staff work in a friendly
homely environment and this creates a natural atmosphere that leads
to children and adults forming good relationships and bonds. Each
key person is responsible for observing and recording a Childs
progress and development looking for the next steps. A comprehensive
picture is formed about each individual child and shared with

years. A maximum of 15 hours free childcare can be claimed at our
nursery weekly. We are also offering a limited number of Term-Time only pre-school places. Please ask our Head of Childcare for more information.
